Maps

The Ordnance Survey Get-a-map service is provided free of charge. Maps can be accessed using a map reference, place name or a postcode. The scale is adjustable and at 1:25000 an image of 2km by 2km is shown. The service can be busy at times and inaccessible, if this happens please try later.

Click Get-a-map to start:
The image on the right will appear in your browser. Enter a map reference(no space between the letters or numerals), place name or post code and click Go. Get-a-map 01
The map of the British Isles will now show the place you have selected. Click PRINT/SAVE/COPY at the top right-hand. Get-a-map 02
A pop-up window will now overlay the image. Get-a-map 03
Click your right-hand mouse button anywhere within the image and a pop-up list will appear. To print the image select Print Picture... from the list.

To close the whole window, and return to the SBS website, click X in the top right-hand corner.		 Get-a-map 04
